Properties: White granule or crystalline powder, odorless or slight benzoic scent, slight sweet taste and owns astringency. It is stable in air and easy to dissolve in water and aqueous solution is slightly alkaline. Additionally, it is slightly dissolved in ethanol.
Purpose:
■1.Owning antibacterial action, sodium benzoate is widely used as preservative of food, medicine, cosmetics, toothpaste, spice, tobacco and feedstuff and its addition level is according to GB2760-86.
■2. It is used as raw material of plasticizer.
Packing: woven bag with liner of two-layer food-grade plastic bag and net weight per bag is 25kg.
